Are you ready for new time recording requirements?

There are new EU requirements that employees' working hours must be recorded digitally. This means that all companies that do not currently have a digital registration system for recording employees' working hours are obliged to purchase and implement such a system.
The background for the new requirement is the judgment of the European Court of Justice of 14 May 2019 in case C-55/18, which determined that, according to the Working Time Directive, member states are obliged to implement requirements for recording daily work. hours for the individual employee.
The deadline for this new requirement is 1 July in Denmark. The deadline may vary in EU member states, but if it is not already in force, it will be soon.
The good news is that implementing a system for this doesn't have to be expensive or time consuming.
The Xurrent platform has time tracking features included and can be scaled to an unlimited number of employees without costs exploding. The out-of-box platform capabilities allow employees to record time either from the native app or from their preferred browser. The solution can be implemented in a few days.
